Patrick Pilet and Porsche shot to the top of the time sheets at the end of Friday morning’s final TUDOR United SportsCar Championship practice prior to TOTAL Pole Award qualifying (4:20 p.m. ET, live on IMSA.com) at Sebring International Raceway. Pilet’s lap of 1:59.023 came on his 22nd and final lap of the session putting the No. 911 Porsche North America Porsche 911 RSR in good position for the afternoon’s 15-minute qualifying session.
For the third consecutive session in Prototype, a Ligier JS P2 paced the Prototype field. Ozz Negri turned a lap of 1:52.096 in the Michael Shank Racing w/ Curb Agajanian entry, 0.482 seconds quicker than the No. 57 Krohn Racing Ligier JS.
P2 of Olivier Pla. Krohn Racing led the way in the final two practice session Thursday.
The No. 73 Park Place Motorsports Porsche 911 GT America of Spencer Pumpelly was quickest in the GTD class with a lap of 2:03.478, while Martin Plowman led PC in the No. 16 BAR1 Motorsports ORECA FLM09 at 1:58.857.

SEBRING, Fla. - Drivers leading the Tequila Patrón North American Endurance Cup point standings heading into Saturday’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh From Florida gathered for a photo at Sebring International Raceway.
The Twelve Hours of Sebring begins Saturday, March 21 at 10:30 a.m. ET (FOX Sports 1) and joins the Rolex 24 At Daytona, Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen and Petit Le Mans Powered by Mazda at Road Atlanta in the four-race competition that totals 52 hours of racing.

Joao Barbosa set a blistering lap Thursday morning as the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship kicked off the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh From Florida race weekend with a one-hour, 10 minute session.
Barbosa’s lap of 1:52.485 in the No. 5 Mustang Sampling Corvette DP was 1.247 seconds quicker than the runner-up Ligier JS P2/Honda of Michael Shank Racing with Curb-Agajanian and driver Ozz Negri, 1:53.732.
Others quickest in the opening practice: Colin Braun in the No. 54 CORE autosport ORECA FLM09 (PC), Dirk Werner in the No. 25 BMW Team RLL BMW Z4 GTLM (GTLM) and Mario Farnbacher in the No. 23 Team Seattle/Alex Job Racing Porsche 911 GT America (GTD).
